Salisbury’s Mississippi Jigger design in pewter was inspired by the work of George Macpherson of Natchez, circa 1850. Macpherson was perhaps the most prolific and successful of the early Mississippi silversmiths.

The Salisbury Kentucky Jigger in pewter was created based on a beautiful design made popular by such early craftsmen as Asa Blanchard of Lexington and William and Archibald Cooper of Lexington. For over 100 years, Kentuckians have given, received, and used their exquisite cup at events such as christenings, weddings, fairs, and of course, the Derby.
